Ealing Child Contact Centre has been offering Supported contact in West London for over 25 years. It is suitable for families where no significant risk has been identified to either the child/children or the parents.
Here at the Ealing Child Contact Centre, children living with one parent can meet and spend time with the other parent in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Several families meet in the one space. We do not provide formal Supervised contact or write reports.
The Centre is run by trained volunteers and it is a charity.
The Centre is one of a nationwide network of Contact Centres affiliated to the National Association of Contact Centres ( NACCC).
The Centre is open every Saturday from 10.00 to 13.00. The Centre may have to close at Christmas or for occasional staff training days, though advance notice of these closures will be given.
Both parents are normally required to attend the Centre separately for a preliminary visit by appointment. The non- resident parent attends at a prearranged time and the resident parent attends with the child/children at a different time. After these separate meetings the Centre’s coordinator or administrator will write to let both parents know whether or not there is vacancy for them.
The Centre provides a neutral and safe venue for contact between a child and a visiting parent. There is a large sitting and communal play area equipped with a variety of toys and games suitable for all ages.
Parents do not need to meet; there is a small coffee lounge at the end of the corridor away from the main entrance.
The Centre has been active since 1989 and was re-accredited in 2019 for a further 3 years.
